Even keel

Just a super-fast update.  Family is still here visiting from out of town, having a great week.  Weighed in yesterday, didn’t lose anything.. didn’t gain anything.  Not upset about it at all.  In fact, I’d planned for just that.  Random thought/tip for the week:  It is so important to remember that you cannot force yourself to be perfect… The moment you set all of your standards, goals, and expectations way too high from the very beginning, you’re setting yourself up to fail.  When you see me continually saying “baby steps”, it’s because I most certainly mean it.  So, while you are all enjoying your home cooking, or maybe gorging at a buffet or other restaurant, know this:  I will be, too.  😉

Happy Thanksgiving, friends!
